Biography
高校の同級生である工藤大介(ex.pla-trooper)と、福村貴行(ex.advantage Lucy)がたまたま同時期にそれぞれのバンドを脱退。
1999年にライブハウス新宿LOFTにて運命的な再会を果たす。
2000年、福村が当時参加していたバンドThree Berry IcecreamのUSツアーに、ベーシストとして工藤も参加。
その際、二人で作成したデモテープ「Vasallo Crab 75 / Flyng」をアメリカのライブハウスで販売したところ多大なる反響をよび、このデモをもとに、2001年はじめに日本でアンダーグラウンドな人気を誇るCLOVER RECORDSより3曲入りカセット「Flyng」をリリース。
何故か彼等の拠点である東京ではなく、大阪のインディーチャートにてトップ10に入るという怪現象。
2001年11月 CLOVER RECORDSより、1stアルバム「Flip Turn」を発表。
CRJチャートにて1位を獲得。
2003年11月26日に福村貴行が病気により永眠。
2004年1月にbloomレーベルより福村の参加した最後のアルバムであり、Vasallo Crab 75としては2ndアルバムとなる「Breathe」を発表。
何故か、アルバムには収録されていない初回特典収録の「Cross The River」という楽曲が、CRJチャートの2004年の上半期の総合第1位曲に輝くという、これまた怪現象。
それまでサポートメンバーであった河辺靖仁(Violin)、大倉イッセイ(Bass)、Koji Sunshine(Drums)、小嶋裕介(Guitar)、Rebbeca Orr(作詞)の5人が正式メンバーとして加入。
2005年9月にbloomレーベルより「Today Is Tomorrow」を発表。
同アルバム収録のタイトル曲「Today Is Tomorrow」は、後に劇団キャラメルボックスの演劇「光の帝国」のテーマ曲に採用される。
同年、下北沢CLUB Queや、Shelterなどにて精力的にワンマン・ライブを成功させる。
2006年1月、キーボード兼エンジニアとして吉田明広をメンバーに加える。
2006年3月にはアメリカSXSW音楽フェスティバルへ出演。
Pe'z, Ellegarden,Stance Punks,つしまみれ等と共演。
読売新聞にて、同フェスティバルのハイライトとしてVasallo Crab 75のライブが紹介される。
2007年10月、4thミニアルバム「Twelve Rays of Light」を発表。
この際、反響を呼んだミュージックビデオ「Breakdown In Blue」は小嶋の兄"Jun"が撮影ならび編集した作品。
2009年6月、自主レーベル「CHAIR RECORDS」を立ち上げ、同レーベルから5thアルバム「時雨れる国の旅人」を発表。
公私ともにパートナーであった工藤とRebbeca Orrの離婚、ならびにRebeccaOrrのオーストラリアへの帰国に伴うバンド脱退。
これを境にそれまでの英語詞から、日本語詞へと変わる。
2010年、バンド結成10周年を記念したベストアルバム「Eats the Best up」発表。
英語詞時代の楽曲の中から、ライブで人気の高い楽曲を収録し、バンド編成で再録したアルバムは、各方面で高い評価を得る。
現在、新しい楽曲をレコーディング中。

Two high school classmates Daisuke Kudo (ex.pla-trooper) & Takayuki Fukumura (ex.advantage Lucy) happened to leave each other's bands in the same period. The two fatefully met again at Shinjuku LOFT in 1999.
In 2000, a band called "Three Berry Ice Cream" toured the U.S.,Fukumura as the guitarist, and Kudo was called as a bassist.
Two took their DEMO Tapes "Vasallo Crab 75 / Flying" with them to sell on the tour, had lots of good responses.
With the confidence, they made 1st cassette tape album "Flying" based on the DEMO tape.
Though the two settles in Tokyo, the tape smashed into Osaka indie chart top 10.
In November 2001, 1st Album "Flip Turn" was released.
The album took the 1st place in CRJ Chart.
In 26th November 2003, Fukumura passed away.
January 2004, the last album within Fukumura, 2nd album for Vasallo Crab 75, "Breathe" was released.
The first press was sold with bonus CD. and somehow, "Cross the river",which was only in the bonus CD,turned into the CRJ Chart 1st place. This is something or what.
Yasuhito Kawabe(violin), Issey Okura(bass), Koji Sunshine(Drums), and Yusuke Ojima(guitar) had supported the activities of Vasallo Crab 75, became the member of the band.
In September 2005, album "Today is tomorrow" was released.
The tune "Today is tomorrow" was lately used in a play "Hikari no teikoku (Empire of Light)" by Gekidan Caramel Box.
In the same year, Vasallo Crab 75 had successful live shows at Shimokitazawa Club Que and Shelter.
February 2006, Akihiro Yoshida (Keys, Rec Engineering) became a new member.
Played at SXSW in Austin, Texas in March 2006 with Pe'z,Ellegarden,Stance Punks,Tsushimamire and more.
Yomiuri Shinbun news paper introduced Vasallo Crab 75 as the Highlight of the show.
4th mini album "Twelve Rays of Light" was released in October 2007.
Vasallo Crab 75 established an indie label " chair records" and released the 5th album "shigureru kuni no tabibito".
Kudo and the wife Rebbeca Orr, who had writed the English rylic,divorced and she left to Australia.
This turned Vasallo Crab 75's rylics into Japanese.
Released the best album "Eat the Best up" in 2010 and had very good renponses.
Now, Vasallo Crab 75 is on recording sessions to creat new and beautiful sound.
